Have you ever been interested in learning how to create wedding and/or other event floral pieces? Formal or rustic centerpieces? Arbor sprays? Boutonnieres and/or corsages? Perhaps you are organizing a fundraiser dinner or someone you know is getting married in the next year or two and you would like to save money and create your own floral pieces, but you could use instruction in knowing where to buy the ‘perfect’ flowers and create the dreamy pieces you wish to have.
This 4-week class will be taught by 5-star floral designer Shirley Glines of Artisan Florals who has been the floral artist for many large events, including weddings at most of the top wedding venues throughout the Lakes Region of NH and beyond (Church Landing, Barn on the Pemi, Castle in the Clouds, Cold Spring Farm, Owl’s Nest Resort, and others.) In this class, you will learn how to procure the flowers you desire, which flowers and greenery to use, how to prepare your flowers for each design, how to create many types of floral pieces, how to treat the flowers to see them last longer, and other ‘tricks of the trade’ to make wedding and other event florals that have the ‘WOW’ factor.
