Ready Lakes Region: Protect Your Family, Strengthen Your Community

In today's uncertain world, emergencies can strike unexpectedly. Whether it's a severe storm, a power outage, or an unforeseen event. Being prepared can make a significant difference in the safety and well-being of you and your loved ones.

Ready Lakes Region is a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) preparedness program based on a national curriculum. This program empowers individuals and families with the knowledge and skills to be better prepared for unexpected events. We believe in proactive steps to ensure the safety and well-being of our communities. By participating in Ready Lakes Region, you'll gain valuable life skills like first aid, fire safety, and how to create a family emergency plan. Let's invest in our community's resilience together.

"While the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program may sound like it's all about responding to disasters, it's primarily focused on equipping individuals and families with essential preparedness skills. You'll learn valuable life skills like first aid, fire safety, and how to create a family emergency plan.

Completing this training qualifies participants to apply for membership in the Lakes Region Community Emergency Response Team/Medical Reserve Corps. This allows trained individuals to contribute their skills and support community emergency preparedness efforts.

Don't let the "C-Emergency Response T" title scare you off! This training is valuable for everyone, whether you want to actively volunteer in emergencies or simply improve your family's preparedness."
