Chinese Cooking will explore the techniques of stir frying and steaming. Everyone will learn how to make homemade Wontons, Eggrolls, Crab Rangoon, and other popular dishes. Each class will end the evening with everyone having dinner together to enjoy all dishes prepared by the class. The instructor, Yan Li, has been teaching this class for the past five years.

This course is ideal for the entry - level user or hobbyist who wants to learn the basic of editing and retouching. Discussion of various software package (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc). Various projects will include eliminating unwanted elements, using layers, color correction, saving for print and web, resizing and much more.

This class supports dogs and their owners who want to take their training to the next level.
-Immunization records required. Carolyn recommends signing up for the Beginner class if you aren't sure. She will evaluate that class and advance the dog to the next level if it is appropriate.

Do you have a puppy or dog that is sometimes a little naughty? Perhaps they just haven't learned yet. This class is just what you need. Carolyn is a master teacher helping the handlers learn how to manage their pet and in turn helping the pet behave in a way acceptable to it's owner.

Intro To Pastel Painting

Pastel is one of the most misunderstood of all media. Often confused with chalk, which is limestone and dye, pastel is actually dry powdered pigment molded into a crayon shape with binding solution. Pastel is as close as an artist can come to painting with pure color! In a series of four friendly classes you will be introduced to the materials you need to get started and the many ways of using this exciting and beautiful medium. The first class we will discussing supplies you will need and preparing surfaces for you to be painting on in your next class.

Topics will include: Creating a Catalog, Organizing, Folders, Collections, Editing workflow, round tripping to Photoshop, Exporting Images for printing, Facebook, Instagram. This course is a lecture / demonstration course. If student has a laptop with software installed they are welcome to bring it and follow along.
